Thanks for yout tip. I was having the same problem, some parts of the text I was trying to publish were blocking the connection.

I looked for the "banned" word in my text and found out that it was "freewebs"

I replaced freewebs with freawebs and the post was correctly uploaded.

Using a CMS is not an excuse for design or function problems... a good CMS separates content from presentation. A good developer starts with the logic, designs the architecture, tweaks the UI and navigation, and finally, dresses it pretty.

There are many case studies of excellent Drupal sites - some heavy-hitters like Sony Music and MTV-UK

What the heck is "TopMediaScript" anyway? It's not even listed at OpenSourceCMS

BTW - posting a link to a site as an example, or with some item of interest, is not spamming or advertising - and your example is really exemplar of either 1) a lousy CMS or 2) a failure to master it.

I have spent the last two days creating a custom admin section to add news blurbs with uploaded images, teasers, etc to a PHP site with no central admin, it's a nightmare... somebody thought it was a good idea to hack Mambo at some point and strip the admin - jeeesh!

If you install a different CMS (not Joomla) and tried to submit the same article, it would tell you if the problem is with Joomla, or something else like mod_security.

I've never heard of that kind of problem at GoDaddy, although I do not like GD in general.

You are quite right. Everything happens for a reason. After some reasearch, I have strong indications that the reason CMS's don't work for me is becuase alot of stuff I do isn't fully compatible with them.

I buy PHP scripts and high quality templates and I pay people to set things up for me that are out of my league. So, I don't need a CMS.

Currently, I'm having to redo a most prized website because Godaddy mixed up the Databses. I'm going to be moving to a dedicated server to redo the setup, but I have all the content backed up.

If you wish, I'll PM you the URL of the site later after I move to the new host and everything's back up.

Although I would recommend Drupal over Joomla, do not "turn" your back on using an existing CMS!

Joomla was a real nightmare for me... I admit the idea of having a cms seemed like a good idea for the sake of saving time and getting more done. However, since I couldn't get it to run right, I went right back to making to my own pages and creating my own databases. So, it turned out being a complete waste of time.

I'm glad you got it to work... But remember, the only way to ensure you get exactly what you want is to create it yourself.
