Whatever CMS you choose the job is not going to be an easy one. Personally, I use Drupal for nearly everything, including this site.

You shouldn't take what we say without testing for yourself. Visit http://www.opensourcecms.com and try out the various CMSs and use the one you like best. I can vouch that Drupal is up to the job, however.
