to silverwing - I know the padding on the news text needs changing as you can't see the text on the left properly. It will be changed soon. As for the issue you described in firefox i have no idea why it showed up like that, maybe a problem with tables. I did test it in firefox after seeing your comment and did not have the same problem, thanks for raising it though i will look into it.

I know the site is a little too bright, like i said the site is supposed to reflect the "my favourite sound is orange" idea aswell as reflect the summer as thats the kind of feel of the album. I agree with you greensphere on the yellow and orange conflicting, i think i will darken the yellow bg, it's easier than changing the orange.

I feel that the orange and the yellow are perhaps too similar i would make one lighter or darker than the other but that is just my personal take on it, nice site though.

Besides the padding issue in your middle news box (I'd add a few pixels of padding on the right and left) I find that the text in that same box is a bit... small. Maybe try a pixel or so larger?

And you've got this yellow vertical line around the left sidebar that just doesn't make any sense. (at least on Firefox on the Mac.)

thanks for the quick reply. You are very helpful, you didn't say arrrrrrrr i can't see i'm blind. You sound like me, I like the colours but i don't want it to be too bright and tiring on the eyes.

It is pretty bright but not necessarily in a bad way... I like what you've done with the header. I'm not really sure what you should do here. You could just go for an orange on white effect, although I sort of like the yellow as well.
