I never had any problems but still there may be a catch.

I think you may as well just buy a domain from an affordable dealer.

I'm sorry, I just don't understand why you wouldn't be able to shell out $8 or so for a real domain. These cheapies have other problems too - I didn't know about the traffic thing but they also aren't easily recognized by regular people (who only know about the major extensions). Which means that people will have difficulty remembering your URL.

For you, right now, keeping the googlepages address is probably a better idea rather than trying to get the .tk domain to redirect. It's just not worth it to try to make that redirect.

If you had a proper server there are ways that you could make it redirect like you want it to but I don't think it would be possible without server access.
