Yes, it looked a bit dull/sick coloured. Brown is a difficult colour to get looking good, and some people will always complain about it.

Try not to use blue though! That's too cold, impersonal and boring IMO. Maybe just go more red/orange, or white/light-grey with splashes of red? Just ideas.

as for the java VM issues, as you say, its not my java VM, i'm just linking to it.... there *is* a better one out there than the one i'm linking to at present, but i would have to host it myself somehow...

The game doesn't seem to work properly for me. The text runs past the end of the game window and the text typed in at the prompt is unreadable. Am using the latest version of Java. That's probably nothing to do with you though.

The site drew me in well enough, am not sure about the colour scheme, but the design is simple and pleasing. On the other hand, the textual content is very good and really made me interested.

Overall this does what it should, however the colour scheme could be better. I'd like to play the game, but it didn't seem to work properly.
