Borderline probably. Generally it's alright to study how something works, just don't copy and paste the code, then try passing it off as your own work.

You'd have to make sure for yourself if something is legal or not of course. I can't offer legal advice as you could then sue me for it later and that wouldn't be good.

I'm having trouble understanding what you need. Are you trying to duplicate what's at: http://accounts.conduit.com/Wizard/ ? I don't think there are any tutorials online on how to do exactly this. There are some on creating toolbars however. You'll need to start there, then work on creating an interface to automate the process. You should also reverse-engineer the toolbars conduit.com creates, it is possible to open the toolbar download in a text editor. Then you can see how it works.

This Firefox toolbar tutorial and the Mozilla documentation on custom toolbar buttons are good starts.

I tried to have search plugins with your links. But i think it's not what i mean. In Conduit.com we can using their service to create search box in our browser that when we searching something using that, we connect to http://search.conduit.com/..... and show search result from google.
They let us use their service free, but they have google adsense search for this.
I mean how can i build service like them? is it possible?
