For a static site one option is Adobe Contribute. It's a very simple WYSIWYG editor that allows you to lock down certain parts of a page. For example, if the site is built with dreamweaver templates you can prevent Contribute users from editing certain parts of the page. </p> <p>It also has a really simple, non-intimidating interface that's easy for beginners to use. All they do is browse to the page they want to edit, just like in a web browser, then click "edit" and they get a simple set of controls that look and work just like they would in a word processing program. You can even set up users' permissions so they can't do certain things (like change fonts or colours for example).</p> <p>It woud be beneficial to take a look at the existing site and find out how they are editing things now.
