I don't know about the rest of you but a webpage that refreshes itself while I'm reading it greatly annoys me. I know it's for the sake of providing up to the minute coverage, but I am well aware (and I assume most news sites readers) that the news changes but it will change at our discretion, not the site's.

I prefer F5'ing if I want the latest content; that way its a user preference on how interactive they want a news site to be.

But that's just me.
