&lt;p&gt;It does have crimped edges on the prongs for keeping it on, so I think you&#039;re right.&lt;/p&gt;

    <description> &lt;p&gt;Where are most of the Dell computers made?  India?  China?  If it&#039;s out of country, it could have been done out of ignorance or cost.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;If it was done here, I would put it more to cost than ignorance.  Perhaps ignorance of the individual, but not the warehouse.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Or maybe this was just a one-time mistake?&lt;/p&gt;
