Well There is a couple of things I would definitely do on diferent way but for the beginning I would try with different font and font color.

Hey there. looks like you used css layers to setup the design... which might be from photoshop.. dont remember. in any case, i think thats your issue.. also, are you trying to preload all the images? I'd def say to work on styling it up a bit.. colors arent the best, but could work. i'm not digging the p2l font color.. did you try white?

I'd say try to reslice it, there are a ton of images here... many of them you dont need. Slice it up and just use background colors and tables (if you're not familiar with css).

Hi urbangyrl, welcome to the forums! If you want a full website review please post in our website critique area and follow the guidelines there.

I have a fast connection here so I didn't notice any slowness with loading but they did wipe in kind of strangely in IE and Firefox (Opera is instantaneous - don't notice any loading problems).

The way the layout is done here is really weird because you've got positioned layers on top of a table background. If you're going to use tables just put the text inside the table rather than trying to draw a layer on top. Dreamweaver's layers are probably best to stay away from unless you know what you're doing.

There is also a problem here with how the slicing is done. If you're doing slicing you need to be careful to keep any solid colour areas in their own slice. Solid colour backgrounds like the ones in your content area should be in HTML not as images. You've got a lot more images here than you should and that's probably causing problems with the loading time.

So what you should do is re-slice the graphic, keeping the solid colours in their own slices. Then when you get into Drewamweaver take out those slices and put background colours on the table instead.

(all of this is defintiely not the best way of laying out a web page but it will suffice for you for now).

Well, this isn't necessarily the proper forum, but...

My first thought is "...wow?" because of the color scheme, badly rendered graphics, and mismatching of text vs. position. In FF, the text doesn't render properly in the middle right text box, and runs the entire length of the page.

The colors are either too harsh on the eyes, or they don't go well together... something isn't right.

And the graphics just scream "amateur"...

So, all in all, I would suggest an intense revision. Not to be harsh, but start at the bottom and work your way to the top.
