There are actually no real differences between a Virtual Private Server and a Virtual Dedicated Server. As far as I know there are just two different ways of calling the same thing. I was also wondering some time ago why people call these types of server this way and not in just one way but seems like variations of the same terminology may often appear, especially in a huge community such as the Internet.
