Sad to hear you didn't do well Kyle, I did exactly the same thing on a computer science exam: got the day wrong! Was talking to people in my class about it too: 'Hey John, ready for that exam tomorrow?' They never corrected me. So these things happen and it's not just you, also college isn't the be-all and end-all.

Funnily that's exactly what you should do if you meet a bear, make yourself look big (they have bad eyesight, which helps). We met two bears while camping. We were just coming back from walking on a trail, at around 9pm, heard what sounded like someone rummaging through a bin. There was a small shed, where garbage is kept, seems someone forgot to lock the doors because there were two bears having a good search through the rubbish!

We just edged around closer to the car, keeping close together, one of the bears ran off whilst the other stood staring at us. I got a few photos, but not until we were safely near the car (so they didn't turn out very well)! Overall: bears are quite cool animals, just got to be careful to not feed them (a bear thinking human == food is not good, usually ends up with the bear being shot too ).

Dont be hard on your self, I experienced the same thing only in a different situation, I argued with the Prof about a wrong lecture he gave and since that time he gave me the hardest time in college. He also got promoted as our department head and that was the worst day of my school life... But it challenged me to study a whole lot more...

Not quite the 14th, but I'm back... [guess I didn't need the ban anyways... I didn't even check the site as a guest...]

Sadly to say, it didn't do much for my grades.... I'm pretty sure I only passed one class (of 4)... one of them I missed the final (aka failed) because I went to the wrong time...

So, this probably won't happen again.

Hooray for repeating classes, and wasting large amounts of money! /not
