I am not sure they won't allow adult material. If it is a dedicated server, you are free to do what you want with it.
Dedicated server gives you the flexibility shared hosting won't give. I am sure you will be able to find a host that offers dedicated servers without that restriction.

assortedinternet.com's hardware is too much for my requirements. which of course the customer pays for in package prices and is reflected by their cheapest price being $200 per month!

phatservers.com is quite expensive! at $250/per month, the package they offer I can get for around the $125 price (a little less or more depending on differences in ram/cpu etc)

webair.com is also quite pricey, and don'se3em to list their monthly bandwidth allowances. so waiting for an email reply from them!

I couln't find anything about revshre.com. ?!?

I use assortedinternet.com for my adult stuff. they have compettive packages. I have been with them for 2 years and had a hadnful of downtime of like 5-10 minutes. Jbblum23 *jeff* is the owners yahoo id if you want specifics.

There is also phatservers.com , webair.com , revshre.com
the only one I suggest staying away from is dreamhosting, they have had security issues with some stuff and have lots of down time.

Forgot, my desktop has 120 gb 2.0mhz and I am fine as far as space. I also transfer all my pics, files and webpages onto a external harddrive for safety.

My laptop is 200GB 1204 memory and a 1.8 and its more then enough space. Once again I put lots on a external hard drive.
