I think that answer is simple. If it is possible to do with company like Emedianow.com - why not? If your offline business needs a website - you need just find such kind company and that's all. I think that it is good deal.

What are the pluses of using webdesign companies vs freelancers? Looks like emedianow.com works with flash design only.

As an afterthought, you may just find someone who will design the site for you and then give some recommendations on the type of hosting to choose, or even host you. I can think of emedianow.com and finerdesign.com. if you design to contact and use one of those, let me know what's your opinion of them.

I've had clients who used Yahoo in the past, and everything was fine until they decided for one reason or another to switch hosts. They had a *huge* hassle with Yahoo, spending hours on the phone just to get it switched.
