Triexa.com;216850 wrote: Is there some way to have GMail NOT add every single person I send an e-mail/get an e-mail from to my list of contacts?

Nope, that's how it is... If you realize though, a lot of email clients are like this. Such as Apple Mail, even though it doesn't add to Address Book, it remembers is so if you start typing the address, it will auto complete.

I personally like this Gmail feature, I know they should include an option to turn it off, but it had really helped me in the past.

It doesn't seem like there is, I tried looking to turn this "feature" off but wasn't able to find one.
