I&#039;ve gone for the PNG option. Its only IE6&amp;lt; that has the issue.  Sooner or later IE6 will be history.  My animations are just rollovers actually.  My fix for PNG transparency in IE6 totally knocks out for some reason the rollover(!)&lt;br /&gt;
Hmmmm...  Still it works OK in IE7 and Firefox , so I can just leave it.&lt;/p&gt;

    <description> &lt;p&gt;Unfortunately, GIF&#039;s can&#039;t do degrees of transparency which is required for what you&#039;re wanting. It&#039;s just completely transparent or not transparent at all.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Anyone know of a workaround for Bansaw&#039;s specific situation?&lt;/p&gt;
