I think it's a good idea - and I will come back once I upload my card.

I am not a big fan of the color scheme. On my mac laptop it looks like a yellow/brown - icky to me.

I think that the outlines and underlines that you have (around the boxes etc) are too thick. I personally like them thinner.

I don't see where you can comment on the cards - that will be cool.

Other than that - great. I like how simple and easy it is!

Okay, Moltar, I see what you're talking about. While that is the submitter, we do recommend on the upload page that if you're uploading the card from someone who has not given you specific permission to do so that you blur out their contact info.

From a user's perspective

Is the site attractive to you? Why/why not?

The idea of the site is very attractive. But there is something missing...

Is it easy to use? Can you find what you're looking for?

It's easy to use, but not obvious right away what is supposed to happen/what am I supposed to do.

Do you understand what the site is about?

Again, not clear from the first glance.

If you were interested in this site's content, would you come back? Why/why not? If the site has a forum community, would you sign up and post? Why/why not?

If I posted my card for judging, I'd come back for sure.

Is the content good? Do you understand what the text is saying? Do you notice any spelling/grammar mistakes?

The content is good. I am also glad to see that the site is filled up at least with some content from the start and it's not empty. There is nothing worse than coming across a site like that which has no contributions. Nobody wants to be first

From a designer/developer's persepective

colour scheme

I see where this was going, but to be honest it didn't work out well. I think you were trying to go after the Web2.0 look: rounded corners, gradients, simple design, rounded font for the logo. But I think the choice of colors was very poor and it downgrades the whole site.

common design principles (alignment, white space, visual organization etc.)

I think there is way too much whitespace and it feels sort of empty. Don't get me wrong, white space is very good. But I think in this case you could have either filled it with something else, or spread the content you have a bit. E.g. have bigger cards, or have some more space between them.

branding & marketing

The logo is catchy.

graphics quality

Again, I really don't like the way the rounded corners are done. They just don't look clean enough.

image compression

I think cards could have been a bit better quality. And why mask the URLs? Is it done by you or by submitter?
