&lt;p&gt;Is the video not shown when the page loads then? Image pre-load scripts are only used when images are shown by some event handler (e.g. the user moves the mouse over a menu item).&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;If the video is displayed immediately, then the answer is: &#039;no&#039;. If it&#039;s displayed when the user clicks a link (or on some other event), we can look at possible solutions then.&lt;/p&gt;
