overall site review

I think you have a really good site with a good mix of information and content as well as the usual links and banners.

i would say that your topline banner/logo is a little plain to have on top of every page but it does bring together the site as it should.

i do think that your overall colours used are a little plain considering yours is such an artistic/creative site but i enjoyed going through it all and it gave me inspiration to go out and be more creative myself!

well done

Good work.

Personally I feel more confident if the domain name matches the web page title if I am visiting a web site for the first time. Also I couldn't figure out what this business about at the first look. I would put some catchy tagline and make it more visible (at the top maybe?) Graffiti Fun Page gave me an error, and laughed at me! But I like the idea of having something interactive.

Good site!

Nice to see you do work in MN!!

The thing that I really don't like is that the nav is pretty much the same on the top and the side. That drives me crazy.

At the top of residential it says "about us" - why?

After the text about residential and commercial I would say something llike "please contact us for an estimate." Something to get people to contact you - make it wasy.

Other than that and the other comments - it's great.

Nice design! Very clean and simple. I like it!

Under your "Visit the Sites" heading on the right sidebar, I would make a couple of changes. First, I would center the images. Then, I would space them out. When I first looked at it, I thought it was just one big ad.

Another thing for me is the header. Personally, I find images fading in and out in the header distracting. I know that can be viewed as unprofessional and can detract from the content on the site. I have a client currently who had me set up some images like that in the header of their site (despite my advice to the contrary), and I can't stand it. Yours is a bit more subtle than theirs, though.

In the news section, I had to click way too many times to get to an actual news item. You might try having the menu option for News linking straight into the latest news (http://icretedesigns.com/index.php?option=com_content&task=category&sectionid=1&id=1&Itemid=2).

Finally, the left menu is not there on some of the pages, and is there on some others. It should be consistent across the site.

Nice look to the site, though. I really like the overall layout and feel. Makes me want faux finishing in my office!

The design is nice. Particulary I don't like the colors, but this is something very personal. As you know each person likes something different.
Another thing is if you have a toll free number just add it to the top panel. People like to see that there is a real person behind the site.

Good lock,
