&lt;p&gt;going by the first word, which I take is patterns none of it makes sense.&lt;br /&gt;
Do you know what character set was used and what the sentence should be?&lt;br /&gt;
you can use the character map (under system tools on start) to try narrow them down&lt;/p&gt;
