I've used eFax, too, but I kept getting fax spam. Their delivery system is multilayeres TIFF files, if memory serves.

There are several, but I only have experience with efax.com. I've had a free account for about 5 years and only use it about every other month. I have a fax mchine to send, but it's great to be able to get faxes via email.

http://www.dmclub.net provide a fax to email service. I think they're only UK based though. Sorry!
