Drupal is my current favorite, though that's ever changing. I've used PHPNuke, Coppermine, Wordpress, Gallery, bBlog, osCommerce, phpBB, and probably some others I'm not remembering.

LucidCMS because it is so transparent and configurable, doing the job whilst staying out of the way. And, unlike monsters such as Joomla, you can make good sites that look nice on LucidCMS without a huge argument and loosing the will to live, which preserves the life of all in my family. And it's free

I don't think so, many of the ones loon listed are neither free nor open source. Still, I would only consider free software anyway.

Fyi, free software (and therefore open source too) can be commercial.

Are we talking open source CMSs? I don't really have a favorite open source one, but I really like WordPress and Joomla. I have looked a little at Drupal and it seems really nice. My favorite CMS by far is WSN Links, it's commercial, but worth every penny.

My top CMS choices would be Drupal and Plone.

Out of the list, I would say Wordpress or Joomla (although PHPBB and coppermine ARENT CMS systems, one is a forum and the other is a gallery), however I usually develop bespoke CMS systems nowadays.

It would have to be Joomla for me. It has a few downsides, but seems to me to be more flexible then most others
