    <description> &lt;p&gt;Never resize images via the width and height values, this includes using percentages.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Pick a screen size (a lot still work to 800x600) and make to that.&lt;br /&gt;
Another way is to offer thumbnail images on the main page with two options - 800x600 and 1024x768 (often seen as dialup and broadband).&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;The other thing you have to remember is these images you are offering are going against your bandwidth usage, so the bigger they are, the bigger your bandwidth needs to be&lt;/p&gt;
