It really depends on the hosting company's definition of a reseller server.

A dedicated server, however, is one that is sold only to one client. If you are going to resell space, you might get a dedicated server from a big hosting company. Since you are their only client on that server, it's a dedicated server. However, you could then resell space to whoever you wanted. Although it's a dedicated server for you, to them it would be a shared server.

Some big hosting companies do reselling by setting up people you refer with a normal account, but giving you a cut. Personally, I would not consider this actually reselling, but referring. But some of the hosting companies call this reselling.

Hopefully that helps some.

Your question is not specific. If you are looking for the information about which package you should opt for starting your business then,
IMO reseller package would be a better option.

Hello. I recomend you go with reseller package or dedicated server if you good in hosting administration and will be able provide support to your customers. Some time ago I started my hosting business with reseller package ahosting.biz, but I've already sold my busines. I recomend them as good resellers to you. If You good in hosting administration the best way - dedicated server of cource.
