everything timj was right dead on for me I was reading the posts to make sure I didn't repeat a bunch of stuff you've already seen but what he posted is exactly what I saw..... only difference is I like the top and side having different backgrounds however it needs to go all the way to the top and all the way to the sides. You might also consider extending it on the left so it goes from top all the way to the bottom. But other than that same issues with the tabs not lining up and so on so forth

thanks all,some good input here, i like what as said about the flashing adverts and i will def tid that up,and as for what it is well my goal is for a yahoo type site

Let me see.....Did you say you've found my site's design a bit shoddy and the whole thing rushed? I see....hmmm...Javascript, CSS, DIVs and tables all within HTML? I don't know what to say.

Just a few quick observations, in the order that I noticed them. These are just my opinion, of course, so take that for what it's worth.

1. Cool logo! I like it.

2. I would change the background of the top and left border so that they match the rest of the page. Or vice versa. Looks unprofessional with them not being the same color.

3. The tabs on the top of the box in the center don't line up for me. When I resize the window (in both FireFox and IE), the tabs stay to the left, while the box stays centered.

4. The Jamster icon where it is looks a bit tacky. Maybe moving it would help, but I'm not really sure.

5. Also, I don't like the fact that I can't (easily) bookmark any of the tabs. News, Sports, etc.

6. What's the point of the site? It was not apparent to me.

7. I do like that it's a fairly clean, simple layout.

Let us know when you add some more content and we can check it out again. Not too much there yet.
