I'll check the link out later, when I get home.
Does the layout seem ok? or should I change it?

I have a logo designer ready to do the logo.
I just need to come up with a color scheme for him to use.

I like blue color scheme, as blue is my fave color but as you say it can be a bit boring.
I'd like to have it with white as the overall background
I'd also like to use the current trends of using gradients and glossy looks etc.
I'm just brainstorming here...
Perhaps I could change the hue of the presents background. Mayby to either green or red, with the rest of the site?

For the navigation. A few ideas...
Black navigation, and green or red links?
Keep it light grey, and have another color?

I'm thinking the navigation bar needs doing again.

I could do a slight gradient above and below the navigation bars, of a certain color, and use the same for any content areas / boxes.

Thank you for your input, it's got me thinking

Here are some good examples of web hosting sites:

http://www.designmeltdown.com/chapters/Hosting/

With so much competition in this field it would probaby be good to try something a little less cookie-cutter looking. Maybe even some more unique colours or something like that. Blue is kind of boring. Sure to look good, but doesn't make your site stand out at all.

You could also start with the logo. Create some sort of unique identity for your site and go from there. That's another thing that will help your site to get noticed.
