i like the old one much better.I feel a lot more comfortable on it. The only bad thing is the fact that it's a little bit small. It could look strange on 19''+ Montitors... but definitely keep the old one till you improved the new one

As for me, the old version is better. The layout is more original, the colors are nice. The new version is too standard, it's easy to get lost in that page. The old one is really exclusive.

On the old layout the 3-column layout could've been done better or probably just cleaner. The banner looks old or outdated, like something from '96. The layout is cleaner, more professional looking and will do more to attract customers.

I've made a couple changes since Megan last viewed this and matt I've expanded the content area to just a normal 3 column layout. Thanks for the spelling mistake but the owners of the site want a new layout it's been the same design for the last 3 years and they're just ready for something new. Thanks for the help if anyone has seen any good designs using red white and blue please let me know. Since the company plays hardest on American made I am going to try to stick with that theme.

I was just struck by how wide it is, and also it took me a few seconds to work out what you did. My eyes went straight to the banner but it didnt tell me anything. I like the caps imagery though.

I like this layout, except the right side where it says, "We are so confident you will like our products, prices, and services we are going to show you our competitors." Maybe move that to the bottom. Also, I believe the spelling of "Manufacturing" is without the letter 'o' in the footer of the page.

I agree with Megan. The new one is boring and doesn't flow as nicely as the old one. The header isn't as nice and looks choppy, the logo doesn't stand out as much and the layout reminds me too much of a mambo (joomla) theme.

I think you need to add an indent so that the buttons on the left and the text on the right aren't so close to the edges. Otherwise, it looks pretty good.

I think I like the old one better. The colour scheme is more interesting and unique and the big photo really catches attention. It is a good idea to convert all that text to real text instead of a graphic. Search engines can't read it this way!
