The look and the layout looks pretty good, although nellys eyes on the main header area looks like shes out from a sci-fi movie. If youd change that to a full color "innocent" pic of her face, that would look awesome on that area. The Logo/text part could require some rework, I love the pattern on the BG, why not use that as an inspiration and apply it to that green banner on the title texts... You could really improve this design as it looks promising... Keep us posted on your changes...

I don't think the grey/green are very good colours, they make her look dull and boring. What colour are her eyes? maybe use a shade of that colour instead of the green, if her eyes are green then maybe a lighter shade, a more muted colour, also a muted grey or other colour.
The thumbnails bottom right look like they are from a porn site with that pink (they are just head shots)
The content on the index page looks very seperated, the solid horziontal lines are to much, maybe use a lighter grey and dashes instead of solid. I think dots like the other bits would give the same effect as you have now.
the "main menu" bit doesn't need to be there as you have labelled the links well. I would use a different colour on the page they are on, say they go to the news page, the word news should be a lighter green or something to show where they are. To do this just make up another link class in your CSS and use PHP to make an if statement for page name.
