compared to many directories, yours appears fresh, clean and uncluttered. hopefully this can continue when you begin to list more sites. i'll certainly be adding mine as soon as i get some cash together!

Could you possibly have :

1. a logo that that is perhaps a little more in-line with your web directory - maybe a graphic that shows a pile of info "neatly boxed"

2. I am wondering how you "differentiate" yourself from other web resource directories. Maybe you could have a list of "recent" views (perhaps)

Oh my... another search engine.

Likes:

- Basic and clean. Worked for Google right?

Dislikes:
- Lack of an about page. What is this site? Why is it better then Google or Yahoo?
- Again, why do we need another search engine? Whats different?
- Search results are not specific to search term (looked up Toys and I get all type of stuff back).

The search engine business is pretty tough and each one is coming up with new tools and "angles". Lookat Yahoo who just introduced their Startpage and integrated email systems. Look at Google who has just bought a wiki site and will implement cross searching with the wikis.

Like the prior entry, first thought is "oh boy..."

You need to adjust your margins, the left has one, the right doesn't (in Firefox)
There is also a slight horziontal scroll at 800x600

First impressions was "oh ya another link farm" but once looking into it I see it isn't (doesn't mean I trust it)

I think you need to add a link to Categories on the top navigation, as the search results display which category they are from but no way to look at others (unless you go back to the index).

This is one of my pet peeves, and a reason I wouldn't be back.
On the index i see Entertainment has 16 listings, i click on the heading but there are only 3 in there. Don't fake your stats/results.

it is a good site i like how simple everything is on the first page, i dont like getting confused when i go to websites.
