<p>Let me change my question. I finally figured out that the question shouldn't be why is the content to high on the forums... it should be why is the content so low on the other pages, like History and Home. I've removed the relative position shift that was "fixing" all the non-forum pages and now, as expected, the forums are correct but the other pages (only history and home work right now) are too low. So my new question is why is there a bunch of space between my header div and my content div?</p>
