Lady MJ;207642 wrote: I dont really know what is the best for making animated banners. But i am using macromedia flash mx 2004 or fireworks.

IF you have flash, you should be able to create a nice animated banner using some tweens.
Ya' can set it to loop, or play out just once after the page loads or a combo have only certain layers loop!
I can do some modest animation in flash, but I'm by no means a tutor. Flash MX has a modest tutorial
that should be adequate to help you create a animated banner.
Open flash & goto "Help/Lessons/Creating tweened animation" but if your faily new to flash, I suggest
doing the text, symbols, & layering lessons first! They don't take long & it's not like your going to do a
whole movie or website, just a banner?
The only real advice I can give you is if you want to keep the file size & d/l short & sweet, use layers &
put EVERYTHING on a different layer (layers d/l in an independent maner; top down or bottum up)
putting a bunch on a single layer would make for a bigger layer file to d/l. A person should be able to
go thru those lessons & create a rough draft of a simple animated banner on a saturday off?

Well I use Animation Shop for animations though I am sure there are better programs out there if you need something more complex featured.
