Do you have any links to stuff you've done already? It's hard to recommend something in particular without knowing where you're at. What you need to learn in this business is really individual. It also depends on what exactly your goals are - do you want to work for a bigger company or for yourself? Do you want to have a good quality product or a cheap product?

You definitely will need to learn how to code HTML and CSS by hand. Especially CSS, IMO. There are lots of tutorials on the web for that. You also need to be able to code layouts using CSS and not tables. This takes experience and practice.
