It was probably worth it back then when you could register premium names like 3 and 4 letter .com domains. Fix.com is being auctioned at Sedo and its up to $2,500,000.

I use Godaddy. I used to use namecheap but I fowarded a domain to Sedo and when I tried to park it back at namecheap for some reason it wouldnt go back.

Godaddy! Easy to keep your domain names organized. Once you get used to their interface you can easily by-pass all those extra offers...That is of course until they re-design again.
It's been awhile since I've used anyone else for registration...but I can say that Godaddy is nice and quick too. The domains are usually available within minutes of registering. Maybe that's how it is with all of them now...?

Cheap for me too at $7 per domain.
