actually there is this faq cms I found a year ago, i forgot the link to, but maybe you can search for it. it makes use of a basic questions list on top linking to a target at the bottom. Theres an admin panel for adding more Q&A's...

Theres also a unique faq sheet I saw that uses the same question list but theres an active box below it that show the answer by clicking alternatel in the question list. It made an impression since you wouldnt need to scroll to see the faqs...

That's not really my CSS layout (although i've messed with it a bit) - standard University template.

The University is a co-op school so students alternate 4 months school and 4 months work. So the stream means when they go on co-op (stream 4 goes on co-op after 4 months school in first year, stream 8 means they go on co-op after 8 months school and alternate 4 on/4 off for the rest of the time. A don is a residence advisor or "house mom" type of role - upper year students who supervise each floor. It is kinda weird terminology but they're pretty familiar with it by the time they get to our site.

Thanks for the input!

FAQ pages are my least favorite, several times I've thought about iframe or div with overflow but then reality hits and the page needs the 'find in this page' function on the browser if is a long list.

I had one site bookmarked (but can't find it typical), it had a pop up with the questions as an advanced faq. basic faq was an option page, view the sections of topics as normal or as pop up (or view the lot), several down sides to this as you could guess but was well done.

Just out of interest, is a 'stream' like 'year' stream 4 = year 4 type thing?
I'm guessing 'Don' is short for something to?
nice job with the CSS layout too
