Thanks for all the info, I guess hell have to ask hist host for this... I told him to get a minimum hosting account for the new domain names also, less hassle on his part...

I also use pair, and have several domains on my account. One thing to note though, pair gives you a separate IP address for each domain you host.

when you sign up with them, your account gets: http://server.pair.com/username
This in the filesystem is mapped to: /set_path/users/username

What I do is create a new directory for each domain of my "root" web path, and when setting up the domain, point it to those. ie
/set_path/users/username/domain1
/set_path/users/username/domain2
/set_path/users/username/domain2

This makes it much easier to manage. Technically then, the site that is accessable from http://www.domain1.com/ can also be acessed via http://server.pair.com/username/domain1

Some hosts will let you host more than one domain in one hosting package - that's basically what he wants, right? Poke around in the control panel and see if there's a way to add a domain. Otherwise, ask the hosts or find another hosting plan that allows this.

I know hosts like Pair.com have this sort of thing built in. He might double check with his host and see if he has anything like that already available.

I don't think you can use a domain name on a folder

gopapa.com => host.com
gomama.com => host.com/folder/

as the dns also works via IP address and the folder doesn't have one - I could be wrong, you could use a redirect page but isn't SE friendly

Changing to a reseller account would be what they wanted, but would be different sites per name
