How many uniques, and raw visitors do you get per day with that ranking of yours? Just curious..

Actually, your looking at 50webs.com's ranking there steve, it isn't your ranking. try doing an alexa rating on blueridgesnaps.50webs.com and 50webs.com - it's the same ranking of 2972 , sometimes alexa can't establish a subdomain from the domain as separate entities.

Alexa ranking is kind of like a Neilson rating for TV shows. It shows you a representation of the number of times that alexa toolbar users have visited your site. I use it as a gauge to see if over time I am gaining more traffic (I want my alexa numbers to go down.)

yes, but visitors which they visit your website, some of them can have alexa toolbar. how do you think alexa can track your website visitors.

to get a good rank in alexa is by downloading their toolbar and after that u just need to visit your website and in this way you rank goes high, and you can ask some friends of you to do the same thing. alexa is working by the toolbard and thats why you have a good rank.
