It seems like the editors don't care wheather any site gets listed, or not. I know its a voluntary thing, but I say if you don't want to do it, don't ask for it.

I guess, there is a pretty good sized list coming in all the time. I really get the feeling, they are waiting to see if you are going to stick or not. They may be instruct to do so, I don't know. But I know its a very aggravating thing. I have submitted my site at least four times this last year, listed -- NOT YET.

I wasn't kidding about trying to become an editor. But! do you know what you have to do, to become one. Its worse than a college entrance exam. No kidding you have to select three sites you would approve, then write an essay on the reasons why. Plus some other stuff I don't even remember.

The technique I used to get SearchBliss updated was a similar one I used to get listed.

So how long did it take you to get listed into the directory? Took me about 20 days, but it was in the local section.

It took me about a year to get listed, and that was 5 years ago.

Update smupdate.

Good info. I will try that with the one site I have listed in there. It has been outdated for a long time and the old description shows in Google SERPs.

So how long did it take you to get listed into the directory? Took me about 20 days, but it was in the local section.
