If I were to randomly come across your site without first knowing what your site was about, it would take me awhile to understand exactly what your site does/offer. My eyes don't really know where to focus. The first two things I typically look for on a website is "who they are" and "what they have to offer".

If I click on the picture of the boat I am taken to a website that says, "Sandals Grande St. Lucian Spa and Resort" with a picture of a resort. The Sandals resort website almost instantly tells me, who they are and what they have to offer.

very good looking site.

The images take a few seconds to load, could take a while on dial-up. The text around the pictures under your vacation deal in california could use a few pixels of padding, as well as the text around the picture for london under your promotions page. Other than those few minor things, the site looks great.

Very slow to load on dialup but good on your for using decent alt tag descriptions, makes the waiting a whole lot less painful and actually something to look forward to.
The image of the cruise ship suggests it's about cruises - that was my first impression. Changing the window status is a IE toy, doesn't work in firefox etc but it's a trick porn sites use to hide affiliate links, so the issue of trust comes in, as your cruise ship image is to another site chances the main links are to somewhere else to, another affiliate site ... no trust no money spent, next please.

You have a layout problem in IE6 on the reviews page, also a javascript error. I cant take a screen capture on the layout as it's 4 pages wide, might be a slight one in firefox as well up the top but no scroll there. in IE is showing broken images as well but it looks like it is a clear spacer image.

The color scheme is good. A little exotic, which is good for a travel website. The two main problems I have are the loading time. It's taking a bit too long even on a cable modem. Also, the text on the home page is tiny. I think you could afford to go a size or two up.

very attrctive and well designed,
but most of the images are not optimised.
even small images are of around 30kb.
you may have to reduce the file size for faster loading of your site on dial up.
