Here's a tip that has worked for me (not sure if it applies in your case): if it's a seven letter domain, find out if there's a toll free number using the same letters. If so, it's a nice selling tool.

To answer your first question, your appraisal from LeapFish.com is worthless. So are all other free domain appraisal services and in fact the majority of paid services.

You have to ask your self the following:
Is the name recognizable?
Is the name a single word or multiple words?
What percentage of the population does the domain apply to?
Are there any numbers in the name?
Are there any hyphens in the domain?
Are there any abbreviations in the domain?
Is this domain a top level name?

All of these things will effect the selling price.
When you have answered these questions go to DNforum or Namepros etc. and see what similar domains are getting.

One good place to sell your domain is tdnam.com, presented by GoDaddy. I haven't used it, but from what I've heard, and the great service GoDaddy provides, it should be useful.

The best way to sell a domain is via some marketplace forums where there are a lot of domain buyers.

http://www.namepros.com

These two would be the first places where I would go to.

You can list the domain for sale at Sedo or Afternic or domain name forums like DNforum and Namepros are also very good places to sell a domain.

Some people put their domains on afternic and sedo, but I don't think they are as popular as the four above.
