I can change for free to linux, but it could take a couple/three days to propergate over to the new server. I should have set it on linux to start with I guess. I have another site hosted on Infinology that is also windows and I run phpBB on it.

They have a free blog with my hosting plan but I found it is advertised, so I say NOT.

Why not ask them if they can provide you with a list of blogs that could work for their settings, or if you can ask for an upgrade of your hosting to support wordpress...

The site is hosted at Godaddy, and they told me tonight that Wordpress would not work on my plan, even though it has phpMyAdim 2.7.0-p12 for the database.
Something about the scripts not working.

I guess I will have to find another good blog software that will run under windows.

Everyone is entitled to free speech, although you are in control, meaning you can delete a post if you like, the point is you judge the flaming if its valid and doesnt go against the interest of your blog or makes a personal attack, In my case a personal attack in my blog would get instantly deleted and I will try to contact the poster about the post... You can also post ground rules not to flame, so its better judgement of the postings that goes into this...

Demonhale and Megan, I have a question. Do you have any issues with someone posting on your blog with a potty mouth or just flaiming the blog?

I want discussion but I want it to stay civil.

I like Wordpress, it's pretty good. The admin interface is nice and clean. I had a few problems customizing the template at first but I was able to figure it out. There is a new version out now and I don't know how different it is from what I'm using. Unfortunately I don't have enough time to pay much attention to that

I just checked the control panel on the site and it reads at the db.
