Try pastel colors or lighter shades on your BG, many else including me have commented on the black background that dont work for this type of site, the easiest I can suggest is to use a lighter shades maybe grey or light blue, also lighter colors help in the readability of your site, since visitors will need to read a lot on your site... to be sure you can try and get a screenshot first of your site by pressing PrtSc on your keyboard, then paste it to your favorite image editing program, use a floodfill type tool, then choose a color and floodfill the BG with the new color to see a preview of how your site will look with a new BG, if youre satisfied, use a colorpicker or see the value of the BG youve chosen on the preview and apply it to the site...

the black is bad for glare during the day, alothough if you think your visitors are coming on at night as you said then okay.

As for the logo, missing the top of the letters makes it difficult to read.

That email is a nigerian scam, note the bad spelling and grammer.
What ever you do, do NOT give them your bank account details or send any money.
