Sorry, only had 10 options, my moniter (where I got the sizes from) lists 14 and didn't list yours anyway.
There are some gaps so I'd say there would be 20 or more sizes. Thats why this poll can be interesting, if people have a fixed width at XX x XX then really they are cutting out 90% of resolutions. Gives more weight to why they should be floating/flexible

For those of you using really high resolutions (like 1280 and above) do you browse with your windows maximized? Do you prefer web pages at fixed width or flexible?

I'm working on the new TWF layout and I'm wondering whether I should put a max-width on it or not.

That's a really interesting point, Busy! So true. I did start having wrist problems again when I got my second monitor here at work (more scolling!). Although I also find that the height of the keyboard tray has a lot to do with it.

I was reading a study the other day but before I could bookmark it the power went out (then came back and went out again, grrr) Was some uni in US reckoned that smaller screen sizes are actually better for your wrist if you do not have any outside activity (netball, basketball, tennis ...) to support/build up the muscles around it - larger screens = more scrolling.

I kind of find that hard to believe as the more you scrolled the more of a workout your giving the wrist, then again the wrist isn't made to go sideways.

I tried doing direct search for it but nothing, it was one of those sites you stumble across when looking for something else.

I am at 1024 x 768, but it's two monitors. Sometimes I have various programs stretched over two monitors. Other times it's one program maximized on one screen, another on the other.

I forgot to mention, I switch between two desktops screens via nvidia dual display controls, so that takes care of screen real-estate problems...
