Like it's been said, the color scheme hurts my eyes!

Also I really do find the links at the top difficult to navigate. I suggest removing the icons and moving them closer together in a ordered way.

Another thing is that the detective picture in the top and bottom banner is squshed. You may want to redesign the banner so the proportions are correct.

First of all, this website needs a more soothing color scheme. The background is a dark, sorry to say this, but "puky" green, and you also used white, yellow, blue, red, and a lightened version of the background.

You need to simplify the home page. If I came here for the first time, I would click the back button as soon as it loaded. It's overwhelming. Make the home page simply a banner (yours isn't bad at the moment) and a welcoming statement, with links to information about your website and service.

Good luck with this website and I hope you don't take the criticism too personally. I'm only trying to help you become more successful.

Hello.

First of all; not a bad site. There are, however, some areas in which improvement is necessary:

1.) The site itself needs to be more refined: - there should be one clear heading/title instead of two. Perhaps under a main logo you can advertise that you offer services for both the UK and the US with flags, which when clicked will take the user to a page dealing with their country. Trying to squeeze alot onto the front page turns visitors away - they need to be presented with somewhere to go in order to get what they want. I really do think there needs to be a separate page for UK services and US services.

2.) The navigation needs improving. Those random hat things detract from the ease-of-use; and although it is not a bad navigation bar, I do think it would work better down the side. Your front page needs to be clear and uncluttered, before the user gets down to the nitty-gritty of the site.

3.) The colour scheme isn't to my personal taste, but you have done well by avoiding bright and contrasting colours. The cheesy clip art needs to go, though, in my opinion.

4.) Also, why not have an entirely different page dealing with disclaimers and copyright notices? Again, I think too much is being jammed on the front page.

There are other minor things to deal with, but if you address to points above, and add a clear hierarchical (?) links structure, you should be well on your way to producing a good site.

thanks for the input. though the other agencies would charge £300 one time fee or £50 an hour on those type of cases, that's was what I was trying to say. I've made a note to make it clearer when I next update the site. thanks.

Just a thought or two. Website nice and clean and clear. Would look a tad better if
you increased cell padding in right hand side bar - the sharp edge seems to draw your
eyes away from the main body. And while you're there make the background a shade
or two lighter and, if you notice, the figures £300 and £50 need swapping round.
Just my two cents worth

Paul
