&lt;p&gt;BTW this is not to use as is, it is just a tutorial that gives the idea how this would work.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;There are many things that can be done to make this class work better. I just tried to make it simple so newbies can understand it better&lt;/p&gt;

    <description> &lt;p&gt;Interesting concept.  I would personally set the cache time via the constructor or at least add it as a default. This really isn&#039;t needed for most sites since mySQL has fairly low overhead but would be helpful when pulling large recordsets of data. Might be handy in the future.
