&lt;p&gt; When we did an upgrade to Suse from Free BSD, Suse installed iwth Apache 2, but we didn&#039;t have anything complex in perl, just basic stuff, so we didn&#039;t have any problem with that. The main problem we had was the newer version of PHP and it forcing me to change my program to use the $_SERVER variable. (oh and figuring out that now instead of using htpasswd, we had to use htpasswd2)&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt; Sorry can&#039;t be much more help on the issue.&lt;/p&gt;
