What you could do is submit this as a feature request. I think there's a space to do that on the Macromedia site. I've done it before - not that they listened to me <img src="https://www.webmaster-forums.net/misc/smileys/eyeroll.png" title="Roll eyes" alt="Roll eyes" class="smiley-content" /> I've been wishing for better text maniuplation in Flash for <em>years</em>.
