First DSL wouldn't be fast enough to support multiple web surfers trying to download files at the same time. Sign up with a host or increase your plan. I think a better way to go is the keep you hositng account and purchase a second real cheap hosting account ie some "unlimited" plan of ebay or other place. Host your download files on the cheap hosting. If they cut you off then just move on to the next one.
