I actually HAVE Contribute! Never even looked at it. I have the entire Studio Package but only use Flash and Fireworks. I don't even use Dreamweaver because I'm addicted to PageSpinner!! I'm be back to let you know if it works out. Do I owe any one a finder's fee?

theres something that I used in my template sites I forgot which script I modified, but it allows you to just login on a page, an icon for edit of different parts of the page will appear, from there they could edit and save... Although I suggest you use a CMS and teach them how to update...

Yeah Contribute can have several permission levels. At its most locked-down level, you can have it so they can't touch any server side code or layout code, and can basically just enter text and images into the webpage. It costs about $130 I think (I don't do currency conversion and I'm British so it may be slightly inaccurate ) and is a really useful tool.

You could also look for a script or CMS that would allow them to edit parts of the site through the browser. That might carry less of a risk of them screwing things up, since you could control what was editable.

Another option to look at could be Macromedia Contribute. It's sort of a "Dreamweaver light" that allows an administrator to control what others can and cannot do with a web page. That's about all I know about it though.

You'll probably find they would use frontpage no matter what, and when they make things worse they will come back to you and ask you to fix it, problem is you not only have to fix their stuff you have to remove all the frontpage stuff.

sample billing could go lke this:
$100 - if I update it
$200 - if you update it
$300 - if you update it then want me to fix it
