Well, good luck and let us know how it goes with Gallery 2.1. We do get posts with that question all the time, so it would be helpful if we had something really good to point people to.

Just to be clear... I meant I could code a thumbnail xhtml page with links to larger files, NOT code a script of any kind. Wish I had that knowledge in at least one language, but I don't. The SPGM script is tiny php but makes horrible looking urls that search engines don't like or read and this is to be a commercial site.
I think I am waiting for Gallery 2.1 (2 weeks or so) and then going to strip it down to bare bones and just insert the bits I need. I have seen demos online now that make me think I can do that.
We'll see.

Seriously, I think there's a need out there for a very simple, customizable gallery script. Seems like here we see at least one post a month or so asking for something much simpler than Coppermine and Gallery.
