760-780 depending on your margins. Using width 100% is a better solution, unless you want a fixed width.

That's an interesting design. For some reason, I like the title graphic at the top of the page.

One thing that I found myself almost expecting was some sort of rollover on the names at the top. I don't know that it's necessary or anything, but some sort of rollover or highlighting may help.

Nice overall design however I feel there is too much white space on the page.

Also I am not too found on the light green color. Maybe you may want to try a color better matching blue.

Regards,

Thank you for the feedback. It is entirely database driven. The most recent entries are pulled to create the menus. To see all of the entries you would click the "More Celebrities" link.

I agree that some basic text about the site wouldn't hurt. I am struggling to find a good place for it, but I'm sure I'll figure that out. Any suggestions?

I have not had the speed problems I am having today trying to load the page. Maybe the servers are having some problems today? If it continues I will figure out a way to speed it up (optimize images).

I will definately have the images open in a new window. I can't believe I didn't do that to start.

How many pixels is perfect for an 800x600 resolution?

Thanks again for everyone's help.

Using 800x600 there is a horziontal scroll, the top and bottom sections go to edges but content is squashed in the middle.

Opening your page I am given a photo of Will Ferrell with a write up that doesn't say much as to who he is or why he's there. Did he make the site (ok am being silly). Although the domain name spells out what the site is about a few words about the site wouldn't go a miss, would be more keywords for search engines as well.
The pages are really slow to load, resize the thumbnails, never use width or height to resize the images. Adding a page 2 and/or even 3 would help load time.
When you click the image you are given the image in same window, no links, no nothing. You need to have it open in a page same as last one so people can view more, next, others ...
If you plan on adding more you should consider a database, would make navigation etc a lot easier

Thank you. I am using existing image sizes and allowing IE to resize it based on a width tag. I will use photoshop to edit the images so they are better quality.

Any additional suggestions?

Several of the pictures are of poor quality. I can't tell if they were resized bigger than the originals, or if the compression is just terrible.
